Co-author: “Whose Kids are These?” Juvenile Justice and Education Partnerships Using Restorative Justice to end the “School-to-Prison Pipeline”

Dr. Mara Schiff is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University. She has completed three volumes on restorative justice, including Juvenile Justice and Restorative Justice: Building Theory and Policy from Practice (with Dr. Gordon Bazemore; Willan Publishers, 2005). Dr. Schiff currently leads a project implementing restorative justice practices in the School District of Palm Beach County funded by the Criminal Justice Commission of Palm Beach County and has written numerous articles, book chapters and reports on restorative justice. She has had 30 years experience in criminal and juvenile justice research, planning, evaluation and teaching. Dr. Schiff earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration from New York University in 1992.
